中华教育学会第四届年会征稿通知 Call for Submissions to the 4th CSE Annual Conference, Jun. 16-18, 2027, Glasgow, Scotland.

 

我们非常荣幸由享誉全球近六百年的格拉斯哥大学于2027年6月16-18日主办主题为“多元共生世界中的教育：以‘ 中华’为视角，重新审思认知、存在与实践”的中华教育学会第四届年会。我们诚挚邀请您围绕会议主题、特别是其七个分主题提交论文摘要。

It is our great honor to host the 4th Chinese Society for Education Annual Conference (CSE 2027) by The University of Glasgow School of Education on June 16-18, 2027, themed on “Education in a Pluriversal World: Chineseness as a Lens for Rethinking Ways of Knowing, Being, and Doing”. We cordially invite you to submit a proposal around the conference theme, especially aligned with its seven sub-themes.

当今世界正经历深刻的社会变迁与多重挑战。教育肩负着推动社会迈向更可持续、更公平未来的重任。我们也需要正视多元的知识传统，重新审思我们判断知识价值的标准。中华教育学会第四届年度大会以此为出发点，邀请您共同探讨“中华”（Chineseness）这一概念所蕴含的教育与学术意义。这里所说的“中华”，并非一个固定的国家、族群或地缘政治概念，而是一种认识和理解世界的视角，为我们重新思考多元世界中的教育、知识与社会提供新的可能。中华文明所孕育的教育理念、社会实践与思想传统——如“天下”“做人”“修身”“和而不同”等——展现了不同的认知、生活、实践和关系方式，以及理解人与世界的独特视角。与此同时，“中华”也体现在不同社群代际传承、不断协商和重新塑造的生活实践、关系模式与文化经验之中。这些思想与实践并非旨在取代既有的知识体系，而是希望拓展我们理解教育与社会的思想资源，为不同知识传统之间的交流、共存与相互启发提供更多可能。

Amid profound global challenges and rapid societal change, education is increasingly called upon to foster more sustainable and equitable futures while integrating diverse knowledge traditions and broadening prevailing epistemic paradigms. The 4th Annual Conference of the Chinese Society for Education in 2027 (CSE 2027) invites you to consider Chineseness not as a fixed national, ethnic, or geopolitical category, but as an epistemic lens through which to rethink education, knowledge, and society in a pluriversal world. Educational ideas, practices, and intellectual traditions associated with Chinese civilization – including concepts such as tianxia (all-under-heaven), zuoren (person-making), xiushen (self-cultivation), and he er bu tong (harmony with diversity) – offer distinctive ways of knowing, being, doing, relating, and making sense of the world. These perspectives, together with life practices, relationships, and dispositions within Chinese and broader communities that have been inherited, negotiated, and reshaped across generations, can enrich conversations about epistemic diversity and the coexistence of multiple knowledge traditions.

中华教育学会第四届年会将由拥有近六百年学术与教育传统的格拉斯哥大学主办。作为一所在现代世界思想与社会发展进程中产生过重要影响的大学，格拉斯哥大学为我们重新审思教育、知识与社会提供了富有意义的交流空间。本届年会诚挚欢迎来自不同文化背景、学术传统和研究视角的学者参与其中，通过交流、讨论与合作，共同探讨不同思想传统与认知方式如何丰富我们对教育的理解，并为建设更加公正、可持续、包容且充满生机的教育与社会未来贡献新的思考。

The CSE 2027 will be hosted by the University of Glasgow, a centre of learning and scholarship for nearly six centuries. With its significant role in shaping the intellectual and social foundations of the modern world, the University provides a particularly meaningful setting for conversations about education, knowledge, and society. The conference warmly welcomes scholars from diverse cultures, traditions, and perspectives to join this conversation and engage in dialogue, debate, and collaboration on how diverse intellectual traditions and ways of knowing can enrich our understanding of education and contribute to more just, sustainable and inclusive futures.

中华教育学会第四届年会热诚欢迎提交围绕但不限于以下八个分主题之一的论文摘要：

The CSE 2027 welcomes submissions around but not limited to one of the following eight sub-themes:
1. Chinese educational thought and contemporary relevance;
2. Comparative and international perspectives on educational knowledge;
3. Education for sustainability, peace, and social justice;
4. Education, identity, and belonging in a mobile world
5. Education in the age of artificial intelligence;
6. Indigenous, Southern, and alternative epistemologies;
7. Rethinking individuals, communities, and society through education

如果您需要赴加签证或呈报单位批准前去格拉斯哥参加第四届年会，请尽快在线完成2027-2028年度会籍申请登记和论文摘要提交。年会会务组将酌情预发邀请函，便于您尽早进入相关申请程序。请注意：赴英签证申请或单位报批可能比预想需要更多时日。

If you need a visa or an institutional approval to travel to Glasgow for your participation in the CSE 2027, please sign up asap your CSE membership 2027-2028 and submit to the CSE 2027. After your submission the CSE 2027 Planning Committee will pre-issue you an official invitation letter to faciliate the applications for your institutional approval and British visa, respectively. Please be noted that such application processes for your travel may take longer time than expected.

University of Glasgow Residences are recommended to participants, as they sit conveniently on the campus, just steps away from the conference venue and the iconic Gilbert Scott Building of the University.
